Implementing and managing MIFID projects.

Date: 29/03/2007

March 2007, 28 & 29 - Hotel Warwick

While MIFID is transposed, or being in the process of transposition into national laws within European Union Member States, the current events are focused on the deployment and the implementation of the Directive application projects within the concerned organisations. The calendar is tight with a short deadline of being compliant by November 1st, 2007.Indeed, the financial community will attentively follow the disclosure of the MiFID's Level III Measures, which will specify the Directive's application conditions.

Many of the concerned actors have now started (or are starting) their MiFID project implementation phase. These projects must be properly based upon the enterprises' strategy, latest regulatory evolutions, as well as the works and recommendations of the diverse MiFID Working Groups that are flourishing all around Europe. The beginning of spring 2007 will be a relevant period of time to evaluate whether or not your MiFID project is based upon a compliant and sound background.

Thus, Investance Institute proposes a conference where, after a regulatory update, you will benefit from presentations and exchanges on the functional issues which are the most structuring for MiFID projects and on the main technical parameters to be taken into account. Moreover, some of the most advanced organisations in implementing the Directive will come to share their experience.

MiFID is an eminently European and transnational issue. This is why we have built a speakers' panel representing the diversity of the financial places that are concerned by MiFID all around Europe.
