>> Hedging Relationship Effectiveness in a IFRS Context.
- In the framework of the IFRS hedging relationships, and in particular the prospective effectiveness tests, Market Risk Management needs a tool to perform the tests and to produce documentation. Perform a prospective test in order to assess the probable future hedging effectiveness. Perform a retrospective test in order to assess the ‘realized’ effectiveness of the hedging relationship.
- The solution will consist of implementing the Recon Plus reconciliation tool.
- The solution will allow Market Risk Management to comment and follow the tests at different case level.
Full automation of the data capture, matching and tests process permited to increase the reconciliation frequency allowing the different internal operational areas to monitor and secured and a day to day basis hedging strategies.
