>> Hedging Relationship Effectiveness in a IFRS Context.

  • In the framework of the IFRS hedging relationships, and in particular the prospective effectiveness tests, Market Risk Management needs a tool to perform the tests and to produce documentation. Perform a prospective test in order to assess the probable future hedging effectiveness. Perform a retrospective test in order to assess the ‘realized’ effectiveness of the hedging relationship.
  • The solution will consist of implementing the Recon Plus reconciliation tool.
  • The solution will allow Market Risk Management to comment and follow the tests at different case level.
  • The project benefits:

Full automation of the data capture, matching and tests process permited to increase the reconciliation frequency allowing the different internal operational areas to monitor and secured and a day to day basis hedging strategies.

Risk and process standardization.
