History of Investance
Investance was founded in 2001 against a backdrop of increasing regulatory scrutiny into equity markets. At the same time a significant driver of change was the Fed examining financial instruments trading t0 and t1. This combined with significant changes to the European Market with the creation of the Euro and transformation from a multi-markets and currency environment, to a single market and currency drove the need for banks to industrialize, be more efficient and reduce costs.
Industry Expertise
The founders brought together a group of people with industry experience, functional knowledge and skills into consultancy to help financial organisations to address these challenges. Investance offered an alternative model for experienced financial industry executives to combine their skills to offer greater value to clients. This was an innovative trend at the time, as most other consultancies had consultants with little industry experience.

Dedicated to Financial Services, Investance stood apart from the Big 4 and smaller consultancies that have long since diversified. This focus on Financial Services enabled us to attract a core group of industry leaders to join the company. Today, we are proud to be supporting clients who have trusted us for more than 12 years.
Success through challenging times
In our first year we learned how to manage our business through a crisis following the September 11 attacks. Since then, in the aftermath of the 2008-2009 financial crisis we successfully positioned our business for future growth. Today, in 2013 we continue to invest in our business and have a clear vision for the future to achieve growth by consistently delivering quality services to our clients.
Staying ahead of the curve
To keep ahead of the curve we constantly research the market, talk to clients and train our people to understand our clients' businesses and the key trends. This helps our clients anticipate and prepare for change and speeds up the process for clients as we can get to the heart of the issue quickly.
In 2002 we created the >Investance Institute to share our insights with the industry. The Institute both acts as a think tank to help our clients as well as provides a platform for the sharing of knowledge through publications, training courses and seminars.
